http://www.blogtalkradio.com/marriage4life1/2014/06/06/man-talkreal-menreal-talk-series3do-it-now-priorities

PRIORITIES (Goals, Objectives, Purposes)

How can we develop the right priorities
(Proverbs 3:5-6,
KEY BIBLE VERSE: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
About a thousand years later, Jesus emphasized this same truth Look at your values and priorities. What is important to you? In what areas have you not acknowledged him? What is his advice? In many areas of your life you may already acknowledge God, but it is the areas where you attempt to restrict or ignore his influence that will cause you grief. Make him a vital part of everything you do; then he will guide you because you will be working to accomplish his purposes.

Real Men Real Talk~Do It Now!! Series #1 (Topic:Fear Is Holding You Back)

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/marriage4life1/2014/06/02/mantalkreal-menreal-talk-series1-do-it-now-fear-is-holding-you-back
FEAR (Awe, Scared, Timid)

Fear of God is motivated by his awesome power and justice. In saying that the Lord is God of gods and Lord of lords, Moses was distinguishing the true God from all the local gods worshiped throughout the land. Then Moses went a step further, calling God “mighty and awesome.” He has such awesome power and justice that people cannot stand before him without his mercy. Fortunately, his mercy toward his people is unlimited. When we begin to grasp the extent of God’s mercy toward us, we see what true love is and how deeply God loves us. Our fear of what he might do to us is transformed into a reverence and awe before his great mercy. Although our sins deserve severe judgment, God has chosen to show love and mercy to all who seek him.

Man Talk Real Men Real Talk Topic: (Friends)

What are the marks of real friendship?

Real friendship is imitating Christ in our relationships.
We are to love each other as Jesus loved us, and he loved us enough to give his life for us. We may not have to die for someone, but there are other ways to practice sacrificial love: listening, helping, encouraging, giving. Think of someone in particular who needs this kind of love today. Give all the love you can, and then try to give a little more

Man Talk ~Real Men~Real Talk-Topic ( People Behind The Mask)

Man Talk ~Real Men~Real Talk-Topic ( People Behind The Mask)

Rejected honesty is better than accepted dishonesty.
It’s disgusting to hear a person “butter up” someone. Flattery is phony, and it is a cover-up for a person’s real intentions. Christians should not be flatterers. Those who proclaim God’s truth have a special responsibility to be honest. Are you honest and straightforward in your words and actions? Or do you tell people what they want to hear in order to get what you want or to get ahead?
Above all, my brothers, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. Let your “Yes” be yes, and your “No,” no, or you will be condemned. (James 5:12, niv)

Discernment ( Experience, Understanding, Wisdom)

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/marriage4life1/2014/05/09/man-talk-real-menreal-talk-topicdiscernment-experience-understanding-wisdom

Discernment is essential in making wise decisions.
By wisdom, James is talking not only about knowledge, but about the ability to make wise decisions in difficult circumstances. Whenever we need wisdom, we can pray to God, and he will generously supply what we need. Christians don’t have to grope around in the dark, hoping to stumble upon answers. We can ask for God’s wisdom to guide our choices.
Wisdom here also means practical discernment. It begins with respect for God, leads to right living, and results in increased ability to tell right from wrong. God is willing to give us this wisdom; but we will be unable to receive it if our goals are self-centered instead of God centered. To learn God’s will, we need to read his Word and ask him to show us how to obey it. Then we must do what he tells us.

Communication & Marriage Topic: When You Interrupt

          http://www.blogtalkradio.com/marriage4life1/2014/04/10/communication-marriage

                                      Topic: When You Interrupt

Many problems in the home are a direct result of poor communication. While both both husband and wife are responsible to communicate truthfully, effectively and biblcally with each other, the husband is the head of the household and thus carries the primary responsibility in ensuring that communication is taking place in the home.

On this episode we will be talking about "When You Interrupt" (Listening)Do not assume you know what your spouse is thinking. Do not assume that you know your spouses motives or opinions regarding a situation without first communicating and receiving the necessary information verbally. Remember, only God know the heart. "For I know their works and their thoughts Isaiah 66:18

~Man Talk~ Real Men Real Talk ~Topic: Money

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/marriage4life1/2014/04/09/why-is-lust-such-a-dangerous-tendency-craving-passiondesire

Lust can destroy any normal desire.

Craving or lusting is more than inappropriate sexual desire. It can be an unnatural or greedy desire for anything (sports, knowledge, possessions, influence over others). In this circumstance, God punished the Israelites for craving good food! Their desire was not wrong; the sin was in allowing that desire to turn into greed. They felt it was their right to have fine food, and they could think of nothing else. When you become preoccupied with something until it affects your perspective on everything else, you have moved from desire to lust.

Rise To The Challenge

Matthew 5:45

That you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

Difficulties are part of life; there’s no way around them. Each of us has faced our own heartbreaks — family problems, lost love, illness, injuries, career setbacks, Death, losses — life’s not always easy.
The question is: "How do we respond to our difficulties?" Do we rise to the challenge? Or do we sink into defeat and despair and depression? For many of us, it depends on the way we think about our difficulties.
Consider a difficulty of yours. Do you think it’s a punishment? Do you think it’s a test? Do you think it’s a challenge?
Your answers to these questions will tell you a great deal about how you are responding to this difficulty.
If you are thinking of the difficulty as a punishment, you’re focusing on what you did wrong.
If you are thinking of the difficulty as a test, you’re focusing on whether you will pass or fail.
If you are thinking of the difficulty as a challenge, you’re focusing on what you need to do now.
For us, challenge is the best choice — by far.

A challenge is a situation that requires us to use our inner resources, go beyond our imagined limits, and realize that we can be more than we previously thought possible.
This turns the difficulty into an opportunity for change, growth, energy, courage, resolution, commitment, perseverance, and moving-forward, being forward thinkers in marriage.
